Jeffrey Zeldman, web designer, author and publisher of the online magazine “A List Apart”, which discusses topics about design, content, css, develpment, web standards. It also shows examples of use. Zeldman is author of a standard book concerning web standards “Designing With Web Standards” as well. Eric Meyer, css guru and author of numerous textbooks about css, for example “Eric Meyer on CSS” or “Cascading Style Sheets: The Definitive Guide”. John Hicks graphics, web and icon designer. squidfingers, graphics designer/programmer, offers a multitude of very interesting background patterns for download. Dan Cederholm, author of “Web Standards Solutions”.
Jakob Nielsen, expert for usability and web design, seems to be the right address to learn more about usability of websites.

Useful things for the Mac

Some nice tools make dayly work tremendously easy, so for example xSope by ARTIS Software, which is not only a ruler, but also contains a crosshair and other practical applications. Better Zip by MacItBetter, which compresses and extracts file archives comfortable and quick.

Topic: Creativity

Creativity can be exercised. The book “Creative Advertising” by Mario Pricken could give me some good ideas about different creativity techniques.
